Seventeen German mayor visited Indjija

Mayor of Indjija, Petar Filipovic hosted a delegation of mayors from the German state of Baden Wuerttemberg. While visiting Indjija they had the opportunity to hear about the reforms carried out in our community, as well as the systems that are in implemented, such as System 48, GIS, e-government and so on, and then visited the industrial zone and German company IGB Automotive.

A spokesman for the region Enckrajs, Jurgen Kurtz said that they heard of Indjija and initiated the visit to our city and added that they, as a very strong German economic region, want a cooperation with strong municipality in Serbia - INĐIJA.

"For us it is a great recognition as representatives of Germany's seventeen municipalities came to Indjija to see what we have been doing over the past twelve years. I hope that their visit will result in initiation of further cooperation in various areas, "- said the president of Indjija Petar Filipovic.

Karl Rekinger, Prime Minister of Enckrajs region, a region that is located in the province of Baden Wuerttemberg and consists of 28 municipalities said that they wanted to visit Indjija because it was the initiative of the Association of German-Serbian friendship which has its headquarters in the city Forcajm, which is also the headquarters of the region from which the mayors come.

"We wanted to engage in dialogue and initiate cooperation with Serbian municipalities, especially with the municipality of Indjija as the most successful in your country. I was pleasantly surprised by all that I saw and heard in your municipality. Congratulations to all Indjija's previous achievements "- said Karl Rekinger.
