All works on the construction of a factory for the environmental management of animal waste "Energo zelena" in the northeastern work zone in Indjija are finished and, according to Predrag Stankovic, a representative of the company, they are waiting for the license to operate, which should come within the next fifteen days.
The investor is a Belgian company "Elektrawinds" value of the investment is 21 million and will employ about 100 workers.
The plant will annually processed 150,000 tons of waste from meat industries and dead animals, a portion of this waste will be used in renewable energy.
This investment is also important from the ecological point of view because the animal waste will not be burned in the open or dumped into waterways.
