Cypriot
company "Kostas A Zacharia " opened its plant in Indjija . It
is a brownfield investment , the company bought the “UKUS” cold storage area of 3600m2 adapted for
international standards necessary for carrying out the processing and freezing
of meat.
"Every
investment is extremely important for our community . Even
though we thought that this year we will not have investment Indjija will still
be one of the few municipalities that will be able to boast of new investments
. In
addition to the Cypriot company that is already with us , negotiations with
Indonesian investors have entered a serious phase , we will soon open IT Park,
in May we have opened Grundfos, so it is indeed commendable balance " -
said the mayor , Petar Filipovic.
Company
" Kostas A Zacharia " already operates in Bulgaria and Cyprus , and
the factory in Indjija will be a central facility from which the goods will be
sold in the region . In
addition, a greenfield investment of the company that should be implemented in
in 2014 is announced in northeastern Indjija work zone , where investors have
bought land intended for construction of cold storage which will employ another
50 workers.

Tifa , CEO of KAZ 's ( "Kostas A Zacharia" ) , thanked the
municipality of Indjija for excellent cooperation , adding that the local
government has completed all the procedures for obtaining permits in a very
short time. On
this occasion he praised the speed and accuracy with which it operates Indjija
administration , but pointed out that the local government has provided great
help in communicating with the provincial and national authorities , and the
Economic Development Agency of Indjija facilitated and assisted in the
preparation and submission of Project Agency SIEPA .
