After “Partner forum” for making Municipality of Indjija’s Local Economic Development 21st on May 2014. further realization of activities has continued. LED Strategy 2014-2020 is being conducted in collaboration with the Provincial Secretariat for Interregional Cooperation and Local Self-Government and the Municipality of Irig.

Three working groups have been formed: Industry sector - small and medium-sized enterprises, Agriculture and the Tourism and services sector. It is planned for a total of three working sessions for each sector.

First meetings were held on 2nd and 3rd of June in Municipality of Indjija building, for each of sectors. Discussion about advantages, flaws, possibilities and weaknesses of business environment in Indjija was conducted. Key issues were defined. Process of issuance of building permits was highlighted for improvement by the relevant municipal departments and local public enterprises.

In tourism and services sector, key issue was strategic definition and creating central attraction around which secondary and tertiary services from tourism sector would be connected.  Agriculture sector has highlighted problems with irrigation and management of associations / cooperation.
