Inđija Liberation Day and the Day of the Municipality of Indjija was celebrated by ceremonial session of the Municipal Assembly of Indjija and appropriate cultural and artistic program. Indjija was liberated 70 years ago on 22 October after a long anti-fascist struggle in which a large number of our fellow citizens were killed.

The formal session was attended by councilors of Inđija, members of the Municipal Council, the heads of local government, guests from brotherly and friendly municipalities in Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatian, Provincial Secretary of Economy, Employment and Gender Equality Miroslav Vasin, guests from neighboring Srem municipalities, businessmen and all those who actively participate in the life and development of the Municipality of Indjija.
