Provincial
Secretariat for Culture and Public Information, on the basis of the competition
for funding and co-financing of projects and programs in the field of
protection of cultural heritage in AP Vojvodina in 2015, has provided another
1,000,000.00 dinars for continuation of the project of reconstruction of a
Celtic settlement in Indjija.
The
project implemented by the Tourist Organization of Indjija since 2012 and is
now in the course of the first phase of carpentry works - production and
installation of part of the fence around the settlement, as well as earthworks
on the embankment prior to installing.
Location
of the future tourist center in the form of reconstructed Celtic settlement -
outdoor museum - space next to the Indjija zoo, next to the highway Belgrade -
Novi Sad (M22 / 1). A very interesting historical story and rich archaeological
material in connection with the life of the Celts in Indjija, with modern
methods of revitalization, will be made in the function of tourism and create a
very attractive tourist product, which will significantly contribute to the
development of Tourism in Indjija, and in particular the town of Indjija.
