The municipality of Indjija started awarding scholarships to the best students in 2000 and so far in our municipality over 800 students recived it. For this purpose over 85 million dinars is allocated.

This year the scholarship is received by 87 students who achieved outstanding results in study and reside in the territory of the municipality of Indjija.

"This is how we want to motivate our best students to continue to achieve good results. We are aware that the situation is difficult. With this project we try to make their lives easier, and our task is to create such conditions and motivate them to stay here, to found family and start working, because with young, successful people our municipality can do even better" said Mayor Petar Filipovic, who also pointed out that the municipality of Indjija will continue to invest in knowledge, talent and education because it is a sure path to personal and local prosperity.
