The municipality of Indjija won the Great Award "Creators of the century" for its contribution to the development of entrepreneurship in South East Europe for 2014. The award was presented to the Mayor of Indjija Petar Filipovic at the second regional summit of businessmen of South East Europe in Dubrovnik (Croatia), which was held under the title "300 best".

The municipality of Indjija received the award for outstanding contribution to the development of entrepreneurship in South East Europe. Criteria for the award of this recognition were everything that the Municipality of Indjija has done in the past 10 years, especially in its industrial zones, concerning the number of investments and the number of newly employed in open companies, explained the Mayor of Indjija Petar Filipovic and further stated:

"The award is very important for us. It certainly will not directly create new jobs and new investors will not 'rush' in our municipality to invest because it depends on various other factors, but it is above all a confirmation and a good message to potential investors that we remained the top destination for new investment and job creation, and of course it is an incentive for better work in the future, "said Petar Filipovic.
